Tony Pecoraro - Head Coach
This is Coach Pecoraro's second year as the head coach of the Gators. Coach Pecoraro has been on the Guerin Prep staff for the last 5 years. As Offensive Coordinator Coach Pecoraro coached 3 offensive player of the year winners. Tony is a 2001 graduate of Holy Cross High School. While in high school, he played baseball, basketball and football. On the Varsity Football team, Coach Pecoraro was the starting tight end and defensive end. He is a graduate of St. Francis Borgia where he played and coached football for several years.
Tony Olivo - Offensive Coordinator
This will be Coach Olivo's 25th year as a football coach. Tony is a 1981 graduate of Holy Cross. After High School Coach Olivo played for Triton College for 2 years. From 1986 to 1992 he coached at the youth level and in 1993 Coach Olivo came back home to coach at Holy Cross. For 10 years Olivo coached at Holy Cross. Coach Olivo has returned back to Guerin after a short stint at Fenwick.
Tony Tinerella - Defensive Coordinator
Mike Bleke - Quarterbacks
Mike is a 2001 graduate of Holy Cross high school. After High School Mike went to Eastern Illinois and graduated with a bachelor's in finance. During Coach Bleke's senior year he led the Crusaders to the quarterfinals in the state playoffs. This will be coach Bleke's first year on the coaching staff and he will be coaching the Quarterbacks.
Andy Damato - Defensive Backs
This will be Coach Damato's 9th year as a football coach. For the past 7 years Damato has coached at his alma matter Marmion Academy. At Marmion he played Free Safety and Wide Receiver. Andy graduated from Aurora University with a B.S in recreation administration. This is Coach Damato's first year at Guerin were he will be coaching Physical Education.
Jim Stover - Offensive Line/ Special Teams Coordinator
This will be Coach Stover's 31st year as a football coach. Stover started his coaching career like many others at the Pop Warner level. Coach then went on to coach at Weber for 3 years before he joined the Holy Cross staff in 1991. Stover spent 12 years at Holy Cross. Coach Stover's son Paul played at Holy Cross and graduated in 1999. This will be Jim's 3rd year at Guerin Prep.
Vince Nardiello - Running Backs /Dline
This is Coach Nardiello’s fourth year coaching at Guerin, with this being the first year as a Varsity assistant. This year, coach Nardiello will be coaching tight ends and inside linebackers, as well as serving as the Special Teams Coordinator. Coach Nardiello is a 2006 graduate of Guerin. During his senior year, Coach Nardiello was a captain and an all conference nose tackle and fullback. He is currently attending Dominican University, pursuing a degree in history

Mike Zajac - Head Fresh/Soph Coach Defensive Coordinator
This will be Coach Zajac's 15th year as a football coach. In College Mike played at Harper as a wide receiver. Coach Zajac has coached at numerous places. He spent his first 4 years coaching at Weber High School, then on to St. Joe's, and finally he found a home at Holy Cross for the last years of its existence. When Holy Cross closed Mike went on to coach the Defensive Line at Prosser. This will be Coach Zajac's first year at Guerin Prep

Offensive Coordinator
This is Coach Wiener's 37th year of coaching football. His coaching experience includes seven years in the Northern Illinois Pop Warner League for the Kilbourn Park Cowboys from 1973 to 1979, first as a defensive backs coach and then as the offensive coordinator. In 1975 and 1976, the Cowboys went to Bowl Games in North Carolina and Missouri. Coach Wiener served at Lane Tech High School for 17 seasons (1980 to 1996) as the offensive coordinator for the sophomore team and the quarterback and receiver coach for varsity. He then spent six years at St. Bartholomew (1997 to 2002) including two seasons as head coach. In 2003, he was the offensive coordinator for the freshman team at Holy Cross, and is currently in his fifth season at Guerin Prep, where he has coached at all levels. He worked with the sophomores in 2004, was freshman Co-Head Coach in 2005 and is now in his third season with the varsity squad. He has coached in 18 state playoff games and in the 1985 Prep Bowl. His 1995 Lane Tech sophomore team won the C.P.S. City Championship. He and his wife, LeAnne, have one child, Maggie, who is a 2008 graduate of Guerin Prep and will be attending Ripon College
