Tom Stein - Head Coach Varsity Softball
Mr. Stein has been teaching Social Science at Guerin College Prep and at Mother Guerin for 37 years and is currently the Dean of Global Studies.  He began coaching in 1978 and has been coaching softball at Guerin since 1994. His Guerin teams have a record of 169-116 and have won GCAC white division championships in 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2003 and an IHSA regional championship in 2008.  He also coached teams to league or tournament titles in 1981, 1983, 1984 and 1988.  Mr. Stein was elected to the National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association Education and Publications Committee in 2007 and has been nominated to the High School All-American and Coaching Staff of the Year-North Division-Committee. 

Louis Rangel - Assistant Coach

Mr. Rangel is a thirteen year veteran of the Chicago Police Department, husband and father of four.  He coached basketball at Our Lady of Victory for eight years as well as  boys’ baseball for six years and girls’ softball for two years at Dunham Park.

Victor Parra - Assistant Coach

Mr. Parra has been the head coach for the Northlake Knights boys’ baseball traveling team for the past three years.  He began coaching with his son’s baseball team seven years ago.  He has also served as Head Coach for the St. Beatrice basketball and volleyball teams for the past two years.
